A 12-year-old boy stopped a burglar who broke in while he was home alone Tuesday — after the kid jumped from his bedroom window and called the cops, police said.

The clever kid was alone in his home on Eagle Avenue in Medford around 12:50 p.m. when he heard glass shatter downstairs and the sound of the prowler’s footsteps in the kitchen, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.

The boy opened his window and leaped out to the yard, where he spotted the homeless intruder, Christian Garcia, 53, lurking inside the home, cops said.
