Multiple Car Crash with Rollover Leaves Four Injured in Seat…

Detectives are investigating a three-car collision in Seattle’s Interbay neighborhood that left four people injured.

Around 4:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon, 911 dispatchers received reports of a collision involving three vehicles in the 2800 block of 15th Avenue West. Officers arrived to find three heavily damaged cars in the northbound lanes, along with four injured individuals.

The Seattle Fire Department responded and extricated occupants from two of the vehicles. After receiving aid, three of the injured were transported to Harborview Medical Center.

Among those injured, a 19-year-old woman driving a gray Toyota Venza suffered serious injuries, while a 17-year-old male passenger was found unconscious. A 51-year-old woman driving a red Toyota Highlander also sustained serious injuries, while a 24-year-old man driving a black Subaru Outback had minor injuries and was treated on-site.

Witnesses reported that the gray Toyota was heading south on 15th Avenue when it struck a curb, veered into oncoming traffic, and collided with the red Toyota and black Subaru before overturning.

Patrol officers secured the area until detectives from the Traffic Collision Investigation Squad arrived. The roadway remained closed for an extended period during the rescue, recovery, and investigation.

Detectives are working to determine the events leading up to the crash.
