Variety is celebrating some of the most accomplished and impactful women in entertainment.
At the publication’s Power of Women event in Los Angeles on Thursday, Oct. 24, Amy Adams, Zoe Saldaña, Carol Burnett and Netflix Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria were honored for their leadership in the industry. Variety also awarded Sarah Hyland the Courage Award for her advocacy for survivors of domestic violence.
“We are honored to celebrate outstanding women who continue to defy barriers and push the industry forward,” said Variety CEO Michelle Sobrino-Stearns.
Hosted by Saturday Night Live alumna Leslie Jones, the ceremony — held at Los Angeles restaurant Mother Wolf — saw guests like Julie Bowen, Amy Poehler, Rachel Zoe, Selma Blair and more arrive for the festivities.
