Seattle police arrested a teenage girl for stabbing an older man Capitol Hill Saturday morning.
On October 26th at 10:37 a.m., patrol officers responded to reports of a stabbing in the 900 block of East Harrison Street.
Police located a 55-year-old male suffering from multiple stab wounds. Officers applied a torniquet and the Seattle Fire Department arrived and continued medical treatment.
The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition with life-threatening injuries, he underwent emergency surgery.
Police located a 17-year-old female hiding nearby outside. She was arrested for Assault 1st Degree and a Snohomish County warrant for Assault w/a weapon.
The suspect was transported to Harborview Medical Center for evaluation and treatment. She was booked into juvenile detention at the Children & Family Justice Center once discharged.
The circumstances leading up the stabbing are under investigation. Detectives are also investigating an allegation of sexual assault before the stabbing occurred.
This case has been assigned to the Homicide & Assault Unit.
