Jim Jones has revealed how his boo, Chrissy Lampkin, reacted to Ciara recently interrupting one of his interviews to urge him to put a ring on it.

Roomies, in case you missed it, a few weeks ago, Jones appeared at the 2025 BET Awards and sat down for an interview with Power 105.1 at the network’s media house. While speaking with the radio station’s hosts, CiCi popped up and strolled over to where Jones was seated.
“I’m sorry ’cause I just really need this to happen,” she said, facing Jones. “I don’t want — he might be mad at me because I don’t know how he gon’ feel but I really just need y’all to go ahead and — I’m coming in hot!”
The singer went on to reference him and Lampkin by saying that they have “lived life in every capacity anyone could live it in.”
“You’re living like you already done it, so let’s just seal it properly… she deserves it. You deserve it. Why not?” she said in part.

Then, on Wednesday, July 2, a new episode of Angie Martinez’s podcast, ‘In Real Life,’ was released via YouTube. Additionally, Jones was a guest. Furthermore, about thirty-three minutes into the podcast, Martinez asked Jones about his current views on marriage. In turn, he explained that he hasn’t declared that he doesn’t want to get married. However, he is also cautious about speaking about the subject publicly. Ultimately, he explained that he doesn’t want his words to be misinterpreted and negatively impact Lampkin.
“We have a thing that’s working right now. We do know what we want to do, but that’s not for everybody to know — you’ll find out when you find out,” he told Martinez. “But right now, we’re in a great place. We’ve been together longer than a lot of people have been married.
As for Lampkin’s reaction to Ciara interrupting his interview with marriage advice, Jones said his boo laughed it off. Rewinding to 27 minutes into the sitdown, Jones said:
“She loves it,” he said. “She was like, ‘What y’all…?’ I was like, ‘I’m just going viral.” She was like, ‘Alright, cool, whatever.”

Before the advice from Ciara, Chrissy Lampkin was already turning heads and sparking chatter online. As The Shade Room previously reported, in May, Lampkin celebrated her 54th birthday. At the time, Lampkin popped out wearing a corset-style dress and sunglasses. In addition, she even received a G-Wagon as a gift from Jones.
Ultimately, social media users couldn’t stop gushing over how amazing Lampkin looks at 54.
