Sofia Richie Grainge is sharing details about her motherhood journey.
While appearing as a guest on the Therapuss podcast for an episode released on Thursday, Nov. 14, the new mom, 26, opened up about how much life has changed since – and how much weight she’s lost.
“My life makes sense now,” Richie Grainge said. “I’ve never loved anything more in my life. I’m obsessed with her, she’s perfect. And I’ve lost 50 pounds. So that happened.”
The model shares daughter Eloise with husband Elliot Grainge. The couple tied the knot in an ultra glam South of France wedding in Antibes in April 2023. They announced the birth of their little one in May 2024.
Richie Grainge recalled to podcast host and good friend, Jake Shane, about how she documented her changing body while she was pregnant.
“I did weekly update photos. Every Monday. I could, like, watch myself expand. It was cute until it wasn’t,” she continued.
At first, Richie Grainge said the nonstop growth “wasn’t” appealing, but quickly changed her tune.
“It was beautiful. This is the thing — I always tell my friends, I’m like, ‘Oh, it got crazy.’ But I was always empowered. The entire way. I was like, ‘I am unbelievable that I can do this,’ ” she said before detailing how much weight she’d gained.
“But I was also plus 60,” the model said, adding that she “did not leave the house.”
Shane joked that after Eloise was born in May, Richie Grainge missed out on enjoying a Brat summer.
“I didn’t even know that this season happened. The summer season didn’t happen in my mind,” said Richie Grainge.
The new mom also revealed that although Eloise is just five months old, she has her very own “little baby phone.”
Shane said that he sometimes texts with his friend’s baby girl, playfully sharing the details of one of their recent conversations.
“I said, ‘Eloise do you mind if me and your mommy talk about how perfect you are on the podcast today?’ And she said, ‘No, keep my name out of your mouth.’ And I said, ‘Eloise, excuse me.’ She said, ‘I hate you.’ ”
Richie Grainge assured Shane that she “had a talking” with her infant to straighten her out.

Last month, Richie Grainge explained that her personal style hasn’t changed much since becoming a mom in a British Vogue interview.
“No, I’m not altering my style because I’m a mom. I’m super confident and comfortable in the way that I dress,” she told the publication. “If anything, my bag is just a lot fuller.”
