BAD BOY WARNING: It’s Ugly, Trust Me

That Knot in Your Stomach…

For over a decade now, celebrities, politicians, community icons, and television personalities have showered praise on Sean Combs, a man you may know as Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, or whatever new name he uses these days. You held him up as a symbol, gave him your platforms, and paraded him for your followers, no doubt with hopes that the association would benefit your own brand. Maybe it felt right at the time. Maybe it seemed like clout or just good business. But now, as uncomfortable truths have surfaced, ask yourself—was it worth it?

Those of you who endorsed him, who cheered him on, do you feel the weight in your gut lately? That gnawing discomfort as more lawsuits pile up, as more voices speak out, and as the chilling details of his actions come to light? Since that violent, sickening episode where Cassie found herself beaten up on CNN. Since Natania Ruben bravely recounted the day Sean Combs shot her, the nightmares she’s lived with ever since. Or maybe it was when you heard about Rod’s lawsuit, the one where he described Combs openly bragging about “buying witnesses” and how he “got away” with shooting Natania. Or how about that evening at an LA studio, where he toyed with the police after another incident?

How many warnings will it take? Are you still telling yourself that this will blow over or that the courts will “let it play out”? How can you ignore the sickening number of accusations, the growing list of victims, and the dark tales of drugging, coercion, and abuse that emerged from those infamous parties? Picture this: a young salesman in a Macy’s fitting room, forced to his knees while his colleagues turned a blind eye. Imagine enduring that, carrying it like a shadow. And then picture me, DeWitt Gilmore, standing on every platform I can, telling you the truth of the night he turned my life and the lives of others into a game of Grand Theft Auto.

Are you going to keep pretending you didn’t see Cassie beaten in front of the world? Are you just going to stand by, your gaze conveniently averted, while more victims find the courage to speak up?

Kim Kardashian. Al Sharpton. Ellen. TD Jakes. Ashton Kutcher. Leonardo DiCaprio. To each of you, to all the high-profile names who embraced him and invited him into the lives of millions, it’s time to own up. To your fans, the ones who bought your clothing, your perfumes, your film-roles and ideas—it’s time to admit you made a mistake. You opened the door and led the flock into the lion’s den, and for what? Now, that accountability is due.

I’m DeWitt Gilmore, and I’m done watching people hide behind fame, silence, and corporate shields. I’m calling myself HOA President here—the head of Holding Others Accountable. It’s time to speak out. To tell your followers, the ones who put food on your tables, about what you turned a blind eye to. No more smoke, no more mirrors. To those of you who were so quick to endorse him, it’s time to reckon with the truth.

interesting I spoke to a friend the other day, and wanted some advice before an interview, and he says “tell your truth, but don’t villainize him.” But then I thought about all of the things that this knucklehead has done through the decades and how he’s victimized so many people by his poor human behavior. And I’m thinking villainize him? How could I make him more of a villain then he has already made himself? Even his mother knows he’s a villain according to her audio clip, where I hear her begging one of her sons victims not to hurt her son, but to take the money he offers her. this, in the week of his sexual assault on her. So your mother knew about your activities and try to keep it quiet, the people in your circle turned their head according to Niykee Heaton the day the in studio production staff turn their head as he groped at her. And even J-Lo in a recent Street side interview someone asked her what do you feel about deedie and all of these latest allegations and J-Lo made a run for it!

No, sir! I can’t make him any more of a villain than he has already done. I am here on purpose, to call these folks out! Because every day you wait, another victim gathers their courage to step into the light, while you stay hidden in your comfortable lives. Tell me, how do you live with that?
