Demi Lovato and Jutes Celebrate New Year’s Eve Together

Demi Lovato and Jutes are ready for 2025.

The Disney Channel alum, 32, and singer-songwriter, 33, celebrated New Year’s Eve together snowboarding in the mountains with their group of friends.

Lovato (who uses she/they pronouns) posted an Instagram carousel commemorating their New Year’s celebrations on Thursday, Jan. 2. “Oh hi 2025 🖤,” she captioned the holiday post. The “Skyscraper” singer added a couple of mirror selfies, showing off her celebratory holiday ensembles — including an off-the-shoulder green and black fitted dress.

Lovato also provided a peek into the couple’s time on the slopes with an adorable photo of them posing in each other’s embrace as they held up their snowboards. Another slide featured Lovato calmly snowboarding downhill, raising her arms in celebration as she shouted “yeah!” for the camera.

The singer also added several photos alongside the couple’s friends and a mountainside cabin in which they were celebrating. The “Confident” songstress included a few pictures of the group of friends shopping around the grocery store, posing for mirror selfies and spending time on the chairlifts.

Lovato also shared videos of the group watching the New Year’s fireworks, the snowy trees and goofing around on TikTok in their pajamas. Lovato concluded the carousel with a photo of her three dogs.

Days before ringing in the new year together, Lovato and Jutes spent Christmas Day together with their dogs.

The couple met in January 2022 when they co-wrote Lovato’s song “Substance.” Lovato and Jutes, whose real name is  Jordan “Jutes” Lutes, also worked on “Happy Ending” and “City of Angels” together from Lovato’s album Holy Fvck. They went public with their relationship that August.

In December 2023, Jutes popped the question in Los Angeles with an original song. He proposed with a sparkling pear-shape diamond solitaire engagement ring.

Jutes marked the first anniversary of their engagement with a cozy picture of them. “1 year of being engaged to my favorite person. I’m so lucky and can’t wait to marry u baby 😘,” he wrote on his Instagram Stories.

Lovato also celebrated the milestone, posting a picture of her “sweet angel” fiancé on her Instagram Stories. “I love you infinitely and cannot wait to call you my husband!!!” she said. “Happy 1 year of being engaged baby!!”

In September, Lovato gushed about her fiancé, telling PEOPLE exclusively about their relationship. “I’ve waited my whole life for him and to have him be a part of this just makes it that much more sweet,” Lovato said at the time.
