Seattle police are investigating a stabbing in the Pioneer Square neighborhood. Â Â
At 5:05 p.m., officers responded to reports of a fight disturbance at 3rd Avenue and James Street and found an adult man with a stab wound to the head area. Witnesses told police the victim had been involved in an altercation shortly before the stabbing. Officers provided aid until Seattle Fire Department medics arrived and began life-saving efforts. Medics transported the man to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.
The victim was uncooperative and did not want to speak with officers.
No suspect is currently in custody. The Seattle Police Departments Homicide and Assault Unit will lead the investigation. Â
