THE 5 PILLARS OF SUCCESS (PLUS ONE BONUS PIVOT)

By Relentless Aaron

If you’ve ever wondered what separates those who succeed from those who stay stuck, let me give you the blueprint. I’ve lived this. I’ve breathed this. And now I’m writing thisโ€”straight from the hot tub to your heart. Letโ€™s talk about the 5 Pillars of Successโ€”and the bonus one that no one talks about until life punches them in the face.

1. Imagination
Before the first page was written. Before the first book cover was designed. There was imagination. Your ability to dream, to visualize, to create something out of nothingโ€”that is your launchpad. If youโ€™re trying to stand out in a sea of sameness, your imagination is your secret weapon. Donโ€™t follow the trend. Be the trend.

2. Decisiveness
What do you want? And what are you willing to walk away from to get it? Decisiveness isnโ€™t just making a decision. Itโ€™s committing to it. Itโ€™s saying, โ€œThis is my path,โ€ and not hesitating when the world throws distractions at you. I decided early. And then I executed.

3. Hard Work Ethic
Not to be confused with working long, itโ€™s about working right and working relentlessly. I mow my lawn just because. I write 3,000 words a day just because. That work ethic is in my DNA. If youโ€™re not willing to outwork your competition, just line up with the cattle.

4. Consistency
You donโ€™t win by showing up once. You win by showing up every day. My writing didnโ€™t blossom because I was talentedโ€”it blossomed because I never stopped. From copying the chalkboard in 5th grade to becoming a bestselling author, the common thread was consistency. One page, one paragraph, one book at a time.

5. Pivot Power
This is the secret sauce. Life will change on you with no notice. COVID changed the planet. Relationships fail. Jobs end. Money dries up. If youโ€™re not ready to pivot, if youโ€™re not willing to pivot, youโ€™ll get left behind. I’ve had to pivot out of love, out of pain, out of financial loss. And every time I did, I leveled up.

Final Word:
So ask yourself:

  • What are you imagining?
  • What have you decided?
  • Are you working hard or hardly working?
  • Are you consistent?
  • And if it all falls apartโ€”can you pivot?

Thatโ€™s the game. Thatโ€™s the gospel. Thatโ€™s how you go from dreamer to doer. From potential to powerhouse.

Nowโ€ฆ Iโ€™m gonna lay back in this hot tub, crank up the jets, sip my iced tea and smile, because Iโ€™ve been living what I just preached.
