DeWitt Gilmore Joins The Fall of Diddy Docuseries, Amplifying His Memoir and Anti-Bullying Initiative

January 9, 2025 – Atlanta, GA – Acclaimed author and advocate DeWitt Gilmore, known for his memoir The Night Puff Tried to Kill Me, announces his participation in the upcoming four-part docuseries The Fall of Diddy. This collaboration underscores his commitment to justice, personal empowerment, and anti-bullying efforts.

The Fall of Diddy, a four-part series produced by Investigation Discovery, will debut on January 27 and 28, 2025, with two episodes released each day. The series explores allegations of violent behavior, illegal activity, and abuse of power against Sean “Diddy” Combs. Featuring interviews with former employees, colleagues, and alleged victims, the docuseries promises an unflinching look into the controversies surrounding the music mogul. Gilmore’s firsthand account of a 1996 incident involving Combs provides a pivotal perspective in the series considering he’s likely one of Diddy’s first targets.

Participating in this docuseries allows me to share my story beyond the pages of my book,” said Gilmore. “It’s an opportunity to advocate for truth, justice, and to stand against bullying in all its forms. If I can use this platform to elevate people from this human failure, it’s a win for us all.”

In addition to his involvement in the docuseries, Gilmore is actively pursuing a civil case against Combs, filed on November 3rd, 2023, seeking justice and accountability. His memoir, The Night Puff Tried to Kill Me, offers an in-depth narrative of his experiences and is available for readers seeking insight into his journey.

Furthering his advocacy, Gilmore has launched an anti-bullying initiative aimed at empowering youth. This campaign includes a series of graphic novels designed to educate and inspire resilience among young readers.

Gilmore’s story has been featured in prominent outlets such as USA Today, Good Morning America, NewsNation, and Baller Alert, resonating with audiences nationwide.

The Fall of Diddy premieres January 27 and 28, 2025, with streaming available on Max following the broadcast.
